THE STORY IN STONE
More Than Art. A Story in Stone.
Each DAO villa features its own sculptural totem, carved from natural stone and integrated into the architecture. Inspired by the tiger and the eagle, these figures represent strength, vision and protection, giving every villa a distinctive identity.
Owners choose the animal that represents their villa, and its motif continues throughout the property in subtle interior details and artistic swimming pool tiles. This creates a cohesive design language that connects architecture, interiors and landscape. The motifs also help guests recognise and remember their villa, adding a personal touch to their stay.
Our connection to the land is at the heart of this concept. Wherever possible, we carefully collect natural stones from the very ground on which the villas are built. Artists and skilled stonemasons transform these pieces into unique sculptural compositions, preserving their natural colours, textures and character.
More than decoration, each sculpture tells a story about its place of origin. By bringing together the land, natural materials, craftsmanship and contemporary architecture, we create villas with a meaningful connection to their surroundings and an identity of their own.

DAO — Meaning & Philosophy
DAOverse
Digital: Decentralised Autonomous Organisation
DAO is designed to be both decentralised and automated. Unlike traditional organisations, decisions rely on automated processes and community votes — a governance approach that balances traditional challenges with a softer, more balanced perspective.
Thai: ดาว (Star)
A star is a beacon of hope — a shining light that guides the way. It's a symbol of positivity, happiness and renewal. In Thai, DAO means star, and that spirit of light and guidance is woven into every aspect of this project.
Chinese: 道 (Way or Path)
Daoists emphasised aligning actions with the flow of Nature. The basic idea: human life is a small part of a larger process of nature, and the only actions which ultimately make sense are those in accord with the flow of Nature — the Dao, or the Way.
Vietnamese: đảo (Island)
An island is a piece of land completely surrounded by water. As a symbol, the island most often appears as an "other world" — a celestial realm, a space of initiation, beauty, isolation and personal growth.
